A US woman has been reunited with her camera and its still functioning SD card 13 years after it slipped from her grasp and fell into a river.
Coral Amayi was thrown from her inner tube and into the Animas River in Colorado in 2010, and her camera disappeared in the rapids.
She had considered the camera gone for good, until a local fisherman found it downstream.

Spencer Greiner found the camera in a terrible state on the riverbank, but found the SD card still worked.
He uploaded a series of photos he found on a local Facebook page.
“Did you get married on June 12th 2010 in the Durango area?” Greiner wrote.
“Did you have an ugly brown stretch station wagon at your bachelorette party? Do you recognise any of these people?
“If so please contact me.”

Despite living in Arizona, it took less than a day for the locals in Durango to track it down to Amayi.
“Someone just found the camera I lost in the Animas in 2010 and they were able to upload the photos and took the time to find the people in the photos,” Amayi excitedly wrote on Facebook.
“I freaking love Durango.”
Durango is well-known for its rafting, tubing, kayaking and fly-fishing attractions.
